The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), following the successful conclusion of its award committee meeting.
According to the Council, candidates sat for examinations in 12 subjects. The candidates were drawn from all 36 states of the federation, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), and five foreign countries.
NECO stated that the examination commenced on April 20, 2026, and concluded successfully on April 30, 2026. The results were approved for release after the 2026 BECE Award Committee Meeting held on Thursday at the Council’s headquarters in Minna, Niger State.
