Mali’s Ministry of Health and Social Development has launched a new official website as part of efforts to strengthen digital public services, improve transparency and enhance communication with citizens and stakeholders.

The ministry said the new online platform will serve as its official source of information on government activities, programmes, projects, reforms and public health initiatives, providing reliable and up-to-date information for citizens, healthcare professionals, development partners, the media and the general public.

Designed with a responsive interface, the website is accessible on computers, tablets and smartphones, enabling users to obtain official information and services from any location.

According to the ministry, the platform is intended to improve public access to verified health information while promoting greater engagement between the government and citizens.

Beyond publishing news and institutional updates, the website features geolocation services that enable users to locate the ministry’s administrative offices, hospitals and pharmaceutical facilities across the country, making it easier for citizens to identify and access healthcare services.

The Ministry of Health and Social Development said the initiative forms part of its broader digital transformation agenda aimed at increasing transparency, strengthening institutional communication and improving the visibility of Mali’s health and social development programmes at both the national and international levels.

The ministry encouraged citizens, development partners and other stakeholders to visit the platform regularly for official updates, public health information and details of ongoing programmes and activities.
